HSTC Athlete Code of Conduct
HIFO Sports Track Club is a youth-serving, community-based organization dedicated to providing elite Track and Field training and focusing on nurturing talent for national competition. Participation in the organization’s programs is subject to the observance of the organization’s rules and procedures. The activities outlined below are strictly prohibited. Any participant or staff member who violates this Code is subject to discipline, up to and including removal from the program.

Youth and High School sports are supposed to be fun – for the children. Actions by parents, fans and coaches, whether verbal or nonverbal, can have a lasting emotional effect on children. Too many of today’s youth are leaving sports activities because the fun is unfairly taken away by adults. HIFO Sports Track Club strongly believes the essential elements of character-building and ethics in sports are embodied in the six core principles: Respect, Integrity, Determination, Fairness, Teamwork, and Good Sportsmanship. As a parent or guardian of a player in the HIFO Sports Track Club, your actions reflect not only on you, but your child, his/her team and the club. As a parent in the HIFO Sports Track Club, you agree to abide by and follow the rules and guidelines below. Please read and check each statement and sign document.

I hereby grant permission to the HIFO Foundation and HIFO Sports to use photos and/or videos of the below-named minor in all media, including but not limited to, HIFO Foundation and HIFO Sports websites, social media platforms, printed materials, and press releases. I understand that these materials may be used for promotional, educational, or informational purposes, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein the minor's likeness appears.
